Places to go, things to do and other good stuff for dogs
Orange County, California
Welcome to the premier resource for Orange County, California dog owners!
Thanks for visiting Orange County Dog Works. In early 2006, my owner made a mid-life decision to purchase her first dog (imagine lucky me—getting a newbie!). This website is a collection of information about helpful dog sites, stores, services and tips that we have acquired along the way.
Most, but not all, are accessible from lovely Orange County, California. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Bella (she toyed with Beau-tox for a while...can you imagine???) and I am a member of the mini Chinese Shar Pei breed. I will be leading you around this website to help you find cool and helpful things for dog owners.
This website is also designed to allow “Friends of Bella” to submit their own recommendations for dog-related places, activities and shopping. Just click on the Friends of Bella tab above.
DO NOT LET DOGS EAT THESE FOODS!
Now, I am just a dog and not an expert on these things (so ask your vet to be sure), but I am not allowed to eat the following "human" foods because they can be DANGEROUS (or even deadly). My owner doesn't like taking me to the vet any more than is necessary! Do not feed these foods to your dog:
Let us know if you know of other foods that should be avoided!

Friends of Lake Forest Animals
*new non-profit group*
The purpose of the FoLFA organization is to promote the general welfare of all animals, domestic and wild in the city of Lake Forest, California through public education and awareness. Specific emphasis will be placed on promoting a public awareness of the current treatment of the community’s homeless animals. This group will be an agent of change for creating a safe harbor for the city of Lake Forests lost, stray and abandoned pets. It is the intent of FoLFA that this be accomplished through the creation of a local city or county run pro-humane animal shelter with a strong volunteer work force promoting active community volunteerism. It is the hope of FoLFA that as the community becomes more informed and involved and the city’s animal services improve, the number of homeless pets will be reduced enabling us recycle pets instead of destroying them.
If you want to learn more or volunteer, email FriendsOfLFAnimals@yahoo.com.
